I have a cold. It seems to be more prevalent in the evening then during the day. I'm stuffed in my ear, my nose and I feel just blah.
Amy and I are working on the ingredients for this Saturday night's gourmet club. Every 2-3 months or so we get together with 5 other couples and cook. Sometimes its great sometimes not so great. This time we are recreating Babette's Feast. If you've never seen it, its a 1985 foreign movie based on a short story by the same author who wrote Out of Africa. I haven't read the story and the movie isn't exactly riviting...but the part where they eat is fabulous. I'm too tired to describe everything today, but I'll give a blow by blow after the dinner on Saturday.

1st Post
Ok,
After the success of my Rome blog, I thought I would try my hand at publishing on a more permanent basis. Just a quick hello...will introduce myself more later. For now, I'll note that I'm still undecided in this election..I think the latest I have been so in some time, although I'm leaning towards Obama. From a non-work point of view, I'm focused on this week (in no particular order)

For now, I'll note that I'm still undecided in this election..I think the latest I have been so in some time, although I'm leaning towards Obama. From a non-work point of view, I'm focused on this week (in no particular order)
- the Super Bowl....my prediction is 38-10 New England (go Pats)
- Nate's fencing tournaments
- Losing some more weight before my upcoming physical (playing bball tonight)
- Babette's Feast Gourmet Club upcoming this Saturday night (clearly not in line with #3)
I have no idea if my blog will be interesting to strangers, but I do plan on letting my friends and family know about it.
Happy to hear your thoughts as well, so do feel free to comment.
